Eyes Cry Black

The truth hurts as I realize what has become.
Time has taken me away from the family I came from.
Siblings grown far apart,
Shooting great pains through my heart.
To know the kind of love we once shared,
the wonderful feelings that had once flared.
Seeing the strong thread being unwound,
knowing that our love my never be found.
With the world keeping us busy,
so much to handle, oh it is making me dizzy.
Lost are the looks that you once had,
when i gave you advice on what was so bad.
The feeling of a role model slipped away,
now my words of advice to you no longer stay.
Forgotten about is how i feel,
for guidence to this to God i kneel.
Even though we are so far apart by time and space,
I hope to someday sit down and talk about all this, face to face!
It hurts me bad when it is your love that i lack,
As i sit and think about it, my eyes cry black!
