I take a walk everynight to relieve my daily
stress
passing by house to house not thinking what comes
next
I came across this bush of sorts hidden beneath
the vine
I thought how could this be, to cover something
so fine
a sprout of color shining through the brown and
green of leaves
I peeked right in, and pulled apart, what I found
you wouldn't beleive
a fantasy of color there were yellows, pinks and
reds
I couldn't understand how they could survive amongst
the dregs
but they did bloom, and flourished behind the
vine's right there
Its as if they tried to tell me Love can bloom
out any where
so I chose the brightest one the reddest I could
find
and picked it carefully and pulled it from the
vines
I brought the Rose home with me and put it in
a vase
to remind me of my walk that day the very best
it ever was
